JSENSE

Helpline and Advocacy

This is a free, confidential helpline for parents and carers of children and young people with SEND (up to the age of 25, whilst in full time education), offering initial advice, guidance, signposting and advocacy by trained, supervised support workers.

Following the initial call, an Advocate, from JSENSE will contact you.  You will be offered an opportunity to discuss the issues you wish to share and the questions you may want to ask.  They will endeavour to suggest the best next steps to either, signpost you to the most appropriate services or if additional support is required the Advocate will work with you, either over the phone or face to face, to resolve the issue.

All our Advocates are highly experienced and are supported by professional supervision.

You can call the Helpline anytime 0161 850 3330 and if it is not answered personally the calls are directed to an answering machine that is regularly monitored.
