Support us

Please help us to assist Jewish children and young people with special educational needs (and their families) who need specialist help to maximise their educational opportunities and to acquire the necessary life skills which the rest of us learn naturally.
High quality specialist services cost money to provide.  Your donations will be very gratefully received.  Please contact us if you can offer regular or one off donations, or are:
  • commemorating a special Simcha or other occasion
  • an individual, charitable foundation or business looking for a worthwhile cause for your sponsorship activity
  • planning to incorporate charitable legacies in your will
To help us right now, you can make a secure online donation by visiting the JSENSE page at 'The Big Give' and following the easy steps provided. As we are a registered charity, UK taxpayers can enhance the value of their contributions by completing a Gift Aid Form, also available via this link. Alternatively you can access the page by clicking on the link below.

However should you prefer to donate directly please click to download a Donation and Gift Aid Form, complete it, and return to us.

A fundamental part of our philosophy is to keep our costs down by using volunteers so we can focus our limited funds on direct help for our client group.
Have you time on your hands?  Do you want to help transform the lives of Jewish children with special needs?  You can volunteer your time and use your talents in our new charity –  help to make a real difference.
Right now we want to recruit a few enthusiastic people with managerial and organisational skills to manage our activities and develop our organisation.  If you enjoy organising, leading a team, or coordinating and managing resources, we have several interesting roles which will give you real satisfaction.  We are particularly, but certainly not exclusively, interested in volunteers with financial, marketing, or fundraising experience, and people with general experience of working in committees.
Whatever your skills and experience, or if you just want to help, ask for further details or register your interest by contacting us now.
JSENSE seeks funds from charitable foundations, and other public and private organisations offering awards or specific project funding, so as to allow us to offer the full range of our planned services.
If you represent such an organisation, please browse our website for further information and contact us now so we can explore how we can satisfy your funding criteria.
As a new charity we aspire to become recognised as a vital charitable service provider to the local Manchester Jewish Community.  You can help by:

  • ensuring that staff involved with SEN at your children’s Jewish schools have, as a minimum, undertaken our basic training
  • telling others about our volunteering opportunities
  • recommending our charity to would be donors and funding bodies
